Description:

Ballroom Competition Trainer is a valuable tool for dedicated Ballroom Dancers who want to prepare for competition finals in realistic musical settings. It eliminates the difficulties and tedium of preparing music for training sessions, such as spending time trimming songs and arranging playlists. Without Ballroom Competition Trainer, dancers often end up practicing to the same songs in the same order, which doesn't prepare them for the unpredictability of competition settings.
In addition to being inflexible, the current approach requires redoing the entire music editing procedure if you want to change the duration of your dances. However, Ballroom Competition Trainer is completely configurable on-the-fly, eliminating these downsides and allowing you to focus on perfecting your dancing skills.
<ul>
<li>6 pre-defined sessions (Standard WDSF/WDC, Latin WDSF/WDC, Smooth and Rhythm)</li>
<li>31 pre-defined templates (29 dances, 1 generic pause, and 1 generic interval)</li>
<li>Create your own templates for custom training sessions</li>
<li>Create your own custom sequence of dances, pauses, and intervals</li>
<li>Specify durations for steps in your sequence or assign individual durations to each step (optionally with randomization)</li>
<li>Choose the desired number of heats for your training session</li>
<li>Repeat your sequence any number of times (e.g., for endurance training)</li>
<li>Assign playlists, albums, genres, or songs from your iTunes library to each dance, pause or interval step (e.g., audience applause or dance announcements during pauses)</li>
<li>Random selection of songs for each step (no two training sessions will be the same)</li>
<li>Apply tempo ranges (MPM or BPM) to limit valid songs for individual dances or intervals (e.g., only play Quicksteps at 52 MPM)</li>
<li>Tempo adjustment of songs (either automatic or on-the-fly during your training session)</li>
<li>Session Readout for full control over your training session while it is being played</li>
<li>Detailed logging of all performed training sessions</li>
<li>Post your completed Session Readout to Facebook or Twitter to showcase your dedication to practice</li>
<li>In-app instructions to guide you through the initial app configuration</li>
</ul>
Once you've configured playlists, songs, or genres for your dances, all these features can be controlled and adjusted within seconds during your training sessions. This allows you to focus on perfecting your dancing skills without the added burden of being a DJ.
